Great Community Give 2025
We are excited to participate in our fifth Great Community Give on April 16, 2025. This annual event is a wonderful initiative of The Community Foundation that promotes charitable giving to support Rockingham County and Harrisonburg nonprofit organizations. The Great Community Give is Cross Keys Equine Therapy’s biggest fundraiser each year, and we are eager to connect with other community members and build a support system of donors. This event also helps to increase the community’s awareness of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy as an alternative counseling approach for those seeking growth and healing. Our work is focused on connection and building relationships with others and we would like our presence in the community to reflect these values. We believe cost should not limit those from seeking services with us for their healing journey. Our involvement in the Great Community Give would help us build our client assistance fund that provides scholarships so that services become low-cost to even no-cost. This would allow us to provide more services to people in our area by helping to minimize a financial barrier to counseling.
